Our Bumper Buddy ATV spreader from On Time Wildlife Feeders is a great deer feeder, salt spreader, and all purpose lawn and garden spreader. Originally designed as a deer feeder, this unit is consistantly used as a salt spreader for icy roads and driveways. Why pay a fortune for a salt spreader when this one will do the job at a fraction of the cost?

This lifetime waranty spreader features a powerful 12-volt, high-torque, 4000 rpm motor that makes it easy to distribute large quantities of seed, corn, granulated salt and other dry pellet material. A unique two-bolt mount clamps the unit securely to any ATV rear rack and allows for quick tool-less removal of the spreader when not in use. The 20-gallon conical hopper is constructed of heavy-duty polyethylene and although rated by On Time for 60lbs, actually holds 100lbs of corn, feed, fertilizer, etc. It includes a quick-release locking ring lid and a cast aluminum regulator gate for controlling the flow amount of material. Two interchangeable spinner plates give the option of 4 to 20-ft. casting distances. One plate covers aproximately 4-10', the other aproximately 10-20'.

The standard ATV mount included with this unit works with the common pipe racks and wire mesh baskets found on most ATVs. If your ATV has a composite (plastic) style rack like found on most Polaris ATVs, you will need to order the OPTIONAL Polaris mount. The Polaris mount is also needed if you have a flat rack with NO upper rail running directly above the rear edge of the rack, or if the upper rail is offset toward the front. This OPTIONAL Polaris mount is a very heavy duty mount and many users also order it to mount their spreaders on the front rack of their ATV.

The standard wiring harness included with the unit consists of one 12 volt positive wire and one negative wire which connect to your ATV's battery and features an inline toggle switch that can be mounted on the rear rack area of the bike. We offer 2 OPTIONAL harnesses that plug into your cigarette lighter outlet. One is a 9' harness for use with ATV's that have a cigarette lighter style power port on the handlebars. The other is a 20' harness that plugs into your full size vehicle's cigarette lighter outlet or power port. Just plug into the power outlet and the spreader will run. Unplug to turn it off.

An OPTIONAL 2' receiver hitch mount is available for use with your truck or SUV. Simply pin the truck mount into your hitch and drop the Bumper Buddy into place.

Spreader includes all mounting hardware, standard wiring harness, and the standard ATV mount.
