Optional Polaris mount is a must for mounting your Bumper Buddy spreader to your ATV's front or rear flat style rack. Most ATV's have a standard pipe rack with an upper rail running directly above the rear edge of the rack. The standard ATV mount included with your Bumper Buddy spreader works with this type rack as well as with wire baskets.

However, if your ATV has a flat plastic rack such as found on the newer model Polaris ATVs, or if you have a flat pipe rack with no upper rail running above the rear edge of the rack, then you WILL NEED this mount.

The upper rail has to run directly above the rear edge of the rack. If your rack has an upper rail that is offset away from the rear edge of the rack you WILL NEED this mount.

PLEASE NOTE: On some rack designs this mount will not fit center and will sit off to one side.
