Simply plug two nine-volt alkaline batteries into the feeder unit at noon to initialize its invisible clock and walk away. The C-74 will then feed for eight seconds (about one-pound of corn) at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day. That's all there is to it! No clock dials or programming to be done! Everything is factory adjusted and preset. Dual 9 volt batteries last about 4 months with preset feed times. An optional dual AA battery harness is available for longer battery life.

The hand held controller plugs into the bottom of your unit allowing you to program up to 6 feedings per day, 1-30 second run times, and three motor speeds.
