The Ultra Hunt unit functions as a dawn-dusk feeder with an easy adjustment for the amount of sunlight needed to activate. The unit feeds 8 seconds twice daily; once at daybreak, and again in the evening about 30-45 minutes before sunset. Each feeding yields approximately 1 1/2lbs of corn.

But that's not all this feeder can do. The unique "Hunt Mode" feature can supply continual short feeding "bursts" throughout the day simply by flipping a switch! Placing the Ultra Hunt in "Hunt Mode" gives a 2 second burst of feed every 30 minutes throughout the day until dark. No feed is dispersed after dark, and the 30 second cycles start again at daylight the next day. Simply flip the switch back to the "Dawn/Dusk" setting to return to the normal timed feeding mode.

The Ultra Hunt operates on a standard 6V lantern battery to broadcast feed over a circular coverage area of up to 20'. Order the optional 15 volt (10 AA) battery pack or 12 volt rechargeable gel cell battery for added power, coverage distance, and battery life.
