On Time's new CONICAL Ultra Hunt tripod features a unique funnel shaped bottom for surperior feed flow. This built in conical design eliminates the need for an optional internal funnel. The 32 gallon unit hold holds 200 lbs of corn and has a metal locking ring lid for easy filling. The heavy gauge green polyethylene barrel features molded in UV protectant and a stong, thick bottom to ensure long life. A welded steel tripod ring secures around the barrel with a single bolt meaning no holes need to be drilled to secure the legs. Each powder-coated steel leg measures 90" and consists of three 30" slip together sections for easy handling and setup in the field. Assembly time is approximately 5 minutes using common hand tools.

The Ultra Hunt unit functions as a dawn-dusk feeder with an easy adjustment for the amount of sunlight needed to activate. The unit feeds 8 seconds twice daily; once at daybreak, and again in the evening about 30-45 minutes before sunset. Each feeding yields approximately 1 1/2lbs of corn.

But that's not all this feeder can do. The unique "Hunt Mode" feature can supply continual short feeding "bursts" throughout the day simply by flipping a switch! Placing the Ultra Hunt in "Hunt Mode" gives a 2 second burst of feed every 30 minutes throughout the day until dark. No feed is dispersed after dark, and the 30 second cycles start again at daylight the next day. Simply flip the switch back to the "Dawn/Dusk" setting to return to the normal timed feeding mode.

The Ultra Hunt timer unit operates on a standard 6V lantern battery to broadcast feed over a circular coverage area of up to 25'. Order the optional 15 volt (10 AA) battery pack or 12 volt rechargeable gel cell battery for added power, coverage distance, and battery life. Adjustable mounting funnel, aluminum spinplate, high-impact composite construction, and a wide array of options and setting make this feeder a great value.

The Digital Key plugs into the timer unit to convert it to a full funtion unit by allowing you to program up to 4 feedings per day (at the times you chose), 1-20 second run times, and allows you to prgram the time of day.
