Bumper Buddy
  The Bumper Buddy from On Time Wildlife Feeders is great for spreading fertilizer, feed, corn, salt, ice melt mixtures, and more. This unit is NOT recommended for spreading sand. Spreader is backed by On Time's Lifetime Warranty and features a high torque, 4000 RPM 12 volt motor housed in a tough, extruded aluminum housing. A cast aluminum funnel feeds material to the spinplate while an aluminum deflector plate protects the rear your vehicle or ATV. Two heavy gauge, galvanized spinplates are included; one for 4-8 feet of coverage and one for 15-20 feet.

 
  Although On Time rates this unit at a 60 pound capacity, it actually holds approximately 100lbs of corn. The 16 gallon hopper is of a heavy polyethylene construction that eliminates rust and corrosion. The barrel bottom is funnel shaped for superior flow capabilities and is very strong. Comes with a quick release, self locking lid and a cast aluminum regulator gate for easy flow setting to your specifications. Once the motor is turned off,  material will not continue to free flow if the regulator gate is still open. However, you will need to close the gate before driving long distances. Mounting brackets are designed for quick mounting and removal of spreader. The standard ATV mount fits most ATV's with pipe racks or wire mesh baskets and can be used on most front racks also.

  Once the mount is secured to the vehicle, you simply slide the Bumper Buddy onto the mount, connect the wiring, add the material to be spread, and open the regulator gate. Removal is just as easy since the mount and main wiring harness stay connected to the vehicle. The standard wiring harness consists of one 12 volt positive wire and one negative wire which connect to your ATV's battery connections and features an inline toggle switch that can be mounted on the rear rack area of the bike. 

OPTIONAL!  We also offer 2 optional harnesses that plug into your cigarette lighter outlet. One is a 9' harness for use with ATV's that have a cigarette lighter style power port on the handlebars. This harness is great for those who do not like to add extra wires to their battery connections, or if you want to use it on more than one bike. 

  The other is a 20' harness that plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter outlet or power port. The 20' harness is long enough to work on full size trucks, vans, Suburbans, etc. Just plug  into the power outlet on the dash and the spreader will run. Then unplug to shut it off. Quick and easy!

PLEASE NOTE: An optional Polaris mount must be ordered for use with composite (plastic) racks or for flat racks that have an offset upper rear bar or no upper rear bar at all. The standard mount will not work with these type racks.

Optional Truck mount allows you to use your Bumper Buddy spreader with any 2" receiver hitch. Simply pin into your receiver hitch and drop the spreader into place!
